Rooted in the rich musical heritage of Shetland, my work in event photography is shaped by a lifelong connection to folk culture and community. Below you’ll find some of my favourite photography work I’ve done and have been grateful to be a part of. This work comes from a place of genuine appreciation—being part of these festivals, documenting the music, the people, and the atmosphere that makes them so special.

Greenspace Scotland comissioned artists in all 32 local authority areas in Scotland to co-create with communities, exploring who, what and how we want to remember and honour all those affected by Covid. Shetland Arts offered these commissions to 9 creatives to create 5 memorials and a book for the project. I was lucky to be chosen as the photographer for the project, resulting in a book published in 2025 by NPN Drukkers.
